Should Zimmerman have gotten out of the car? Maybe not, but I 100% do not believe he got out of that car with the intention of killing Trayvon.  Calling him a "monster" is just ridiculous. Trying to paint him as a cold blooded killer is ridiculous.  In my opinion, he was a man with good intentions (watching out for his neighborhood) that led to a situation he did not expect (fighting with and killing someone).  The evidence that is now released certainly shows this - he didn't just stand there and shoot Trayvon. This wasn't cold-blooded murder.  The prosecutor gave in to public pressure when she charged him with more than manslaughter. The charges against him are wrong and over-reach big time. That's why he won't be found guilty.
"Maybe not" is the wrong answer. The correct answer is "definitely not." He was in no danger whatsoever. His intention was to protect his neighborhood from what, black people? Because all black people in hoodies are there to commit crime?
People do stupid shit all the time though. I'm not excusing what he did, but the fact is that he did what he wanted to do. It's not illegal and it's not a crime to not listen to what a 911 dispatcher is telling you to so, especially when the dispatcher is under the impression that it's actually the caller that's in danger.
