Same here! I don't enjoy any kind of Americanized "Mexican" food, especially from chain restaurants. And I rarely like food in sit down, more "authentic" Mexican restaurants, either. But I've worked with and known people who either have lived in or visited Mexico and they say actual Mexican food tastes nothing like what we eat up here. But I try to make as much food at home as we can, and I really enjoy recipes for "Mexican" meals that we make at home. One of my biggest sticking points is cilantro- I hate the stuff (so, no Chipotle or Qdoba) and I'm not big on things like onions, peppers, etc. unless I make them myself, for some reason.
