I am a manager and love using temps. It's a great way to "try on" people for "sizes". There is no probation period! No disciplinary action to take. Hate the messy paperwork. I think it works both ways for employer and employee to see if it's right fit for the job. The only draw back to temps that I find annoying is the unreliability of some. If they need the money or like the job, they show up. If not then here comes another.
