Wow, yeah that's a lot of makeup. I get that it's a "going out" look, but whew. She's obviously really insecure about her skin, and I don't really see why? In both videos, it doesn't look so bad that she needs all that. But there are people who want doubly full coverage that use a heavy foundation, full coverage concealer, AND a powder foundation for their face makeup. Just too much product!

Regarding the smokey eyes/red lips, that's actually a really common combo for a lot of people, but obviously, not everyone's cup of tea. The smokey eye, even though it's heavy, is considered "neutral" because of the tones used. Now, if it was like, a purple smokey eye, then the red lips would be considered "over the top". But ultimately, it's about what the wearer feels comfortable with, so I personally wouldn't do the red lips (I like neutral lips with any smokey eye).

The eyebrows are too much, though. Even in the second video, she notes that the eyebrows are the longest part of the routine (or something to that effect). That should tell her something. No one's eyebrows should take the LONGEST of their makeup routine. Mine take maybe 60 seconds, total (and of course, I routinely tweeze, trim, shape, etc). I know what she's doing with the concealer trick, but she's OVERdoing it. Some people like to use a little concealer (the SAME SHADE as they normally would use) to "clean up" or "sharpen" the shape of their brows, but she's so overdoing it, both with the way too light shade and literally completely surrounding the entire brow, it's overkill. It's almost like some of the tricks she's using ARE "stage makeup" tricks, which are WAY too harsh for every day life.

Pretty girl, too many "tricks" and time spent on the wrong areas, imo.
