Clemens numbers, the last starting pitcher to win the MVP, are eerily similar to Justin's this year so I wouldn't call it undeserving. I didn't believe he'd win it because the Tigers had other MVP caliber players on the team, Cabrera and maybe even Avila with the season he had. But I don't believe that Justin is one of the worst MVP picks either, unless you want to lump Clemens in on that list as well.
