As a senior at Penn State's main campus right now, I am disgusted. They all need to go. Their only defense rests on their alleged lack of awareness of the gravity of what McQueary witnessed, so they claim to have known only that Sandusky and a young boy were "horsing around" in the showers. But what the fuck is their definition of "horsing around" in the context of a grown man and a 10/11 year old that would allow them to reconcile their subsequent inaction? Then, when you take into account their potential knowledge of previous incidents and that he would continue to interact with children on a regular basis through his volunteer activities...I mean what the FUCK is wrong with them??

McQueary doesn't even have that questionable defense. He witnessed a boy being sodomized in the PSU locker rooms and failed to act when it became very clear that PSU wasn't going to respond in any meaningful way. He then went on to live his life with the knowledge that Sandusky would continue to have access not only to PSU facilities but also to children through his volunteer work with his charity and a local high school. I understand his initial trepidation and fear when things first unfolded, but due to the massive implications of such a thing...at what point does a person snap out of it and do something?

I'm also disturbed when I process the fact that the current accusations date only to 1994. Child molestation isn't just a "habit" you can pick up at a late stage in life. I cringe when I think of how many stories were covered up in the 20+ years of Sandusky's PSU tenure which predate the current set of accusations

The level of blind adulation of the PSU football program into which students are indoctrinated when they come here has always made me uneasy, and all of this justifies that. No one involved wanted to upset the status quo of the old boys' club, and now this mess is deservedly on their hands.
