Schools like this are afraid to report NCAA violations, why would they report a sexual assalt of a minor by an assistant coach of their top sports program, that brings in $$$$$$$$ through television broadcasts, licensing, appearal, etc.??? The damage that would have done to admissions, enrollment, and endowment/fundraising would have been horrendous. No shit they didn't report this. Anyone that thinks PSU, or any Division I school, is about caring faculty and student spirt, is drinking some serious Kool-Aid LOL. I guess some of us would just hope that at least one of the adults who were aware of what was happening would go straight to the police. This isn't tshirts or tattoos or breaking NCAA violations, this is rape of child. It is a crime of such nature where one liked to have hope in fellow human beings that for the most part, that is an act that they would report to police because of how heinous it is, no matter the money. How Penn State officials have (the A.D covering it up, and anyone along the lines who knew no legal action was being taken and stood silent, which includes the grad student witness) handled this and continue to (Spanier standing by our AD) is completely reprehensible because of the nature of the crime. They all let a child molester walk free to continue to prey upon children. Come Monday morning I'm sending some serious emails through the alumni channels asking for pressure to both the President and AD for resignation.
