Blue Buffalo is not geared to the fact that cats are carnivores. I use Iams. Have for 21 years on 3 cats.

Remember to introduce a new food gradually (mix a little new with previous kind and gradually increase the amount of the new food). Then stick with it. Cats do not do well with variety. If her stomach stays upset, see the vet. Could be an intestinal virus.

Blue Buffalo is not grain-free, so no, it isn't the best choice as cats are obligate carnivores. Cats cannot physically digest grains of any type. However, I would suggest Blue Buffalo far before Iams. Iams not only has a terrible reputation (and was proven to have caused numerous deaths in cats from kidney failure - my childhood cat included) but it is primarily made of meat by-products and corn. Corn is addictive, cheap, and cats can't digest it. So, you end up feeding twice the amount of food, cleaning up twice the amount of food, and feeding your cat the equivalent to fast food every single day.
