I don't think it will be difficult to have your me time. Does he not have any friends of his own? Do you both work? Do you go out with friends?

Even is you're at home with him, you both can still do your own stuff and get your me time.

Like right now, my husband is on his computer and I'm on my laptop.

He has friends, but all his friends are married or have S/O and spent most of their time with them. I have finally figured out that he's one of those people that the nanosecond they get into a relationship they disappear and spend all the time with their s/o. He hangs out with friends on rare occasions. I am the EXACT opposite, I hang out with my friends frequently and do stuff outside of work and school (I've started volunteering for the ASPCA). We both work (him full time, me part time. And when I go out with my friends, I have to tell him it's 'girls only'. He wants to come to ALL my friend outting and I'm like...no Plusss. Then he gets annoyed when I stay out later than usual with a friend that I havent' seen in a long time bc he's so used to us eating dinner every day. I don't know how he got so clingly, but yeah it's overkill sometimes.
