Yeah, but I'm sick of everyone selling "their" story.. Come on some shit is better left unsaid.

Uhh this pissed me off.

I bet there's 100s of girls in the music industry who had this happen to them but haven't said a word. I wish more of them would step out and talk about it. It's most likely gonna inspire other women to come forward with their story and make them not feel so ashamed of themselves or feel like it was their fault. AND maybe even make sure that some of these assholes who do these things gets caught! Some topics should be said, and some should be said a lot more, like this.
I missed this post the first time around and as I was reading it, I was thinking just how many girls/women in the business this has really happened to.  It's got to be tons.  I realize there's the whole "casting couch" thing, but how much of that is forced?  Probably most of it.  And all that other stuff that goes on way behind the scenes.

I understand why some of them don't speak out; they're embarrassed, ashamed and scared.  But the silence is what makes it worse in the end.  The more who choose to speak up, will inspire and encourage others to do the same.  I'm not going to shame someone for being scared, but I wish they knew how much support really is out here for them.  It is certainly something that will change them forever but, with support, they can use that to become stronger and not let those fuckers win.
