Sizes are SO weird these days, that the "number" stitched into your clothing doesn't even make sense anymore. So who knows what size someone could be, especially when you consider how much it varies from brand to brand.

For example, a year ago, I was a size 0 in pants from Express and Banana Republic or any basic "work clothes" store. I was maybe 5-7 pounds heavier than I am now, but not anything noticeable or dramatic. Now when I shop in those same stores, I'm supposedly a 00. I thought it was because of the slight weight loss, but then I placed my 00 sized pants up against the 0 from a year ago and found that they are exactly the same size. So my guess is that a year from now, 000 will exist and will be the same exact size as a 0 from 2010. I don't get it.

Off topic from the original post, but I really wish brands would go the man route and just size clothing based on inches. Would make life so much easier.
