Nix the canned tomato soup and make this instead. It comes close to a Tomato Florentine Soup I had at Au Bon Pain once. So delicious.

1 box beef broth
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 small can tomato sauce
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1-2 teaspoons salt (add to taste)
1/2 can of red beans
1/4 cup of ditalini noodles
1/2 pound ground beef (already browned)

Chop up some carrots, celery, and you can even add some spinach. I use a little of the frozen kind. Let it simmer for an hour or two and you're good to go. I absolutely love it. I have been trying to copy this recipe ever since I had the soup at an airport because I don't have ABP here.
