I tried the cost thing with my doctor. I was basically told they just can't keep switching me to something because of the cost (I've only ever been on one other BC than Loestrin 24). I tried to get on just regular Ortho Tri-Cyclen, which has a higher dosage of hormones than the Lo version I was taking, which I knew, but that turned into a big giant mess because I was under the impression my doctor knew he was giving me another hormone dosage (and so was the nurse I was talking to) but he thought I was just trying to get a refill on my Lo dosage (which is what the head nurse who I normally deal with thought as well until the pharmacy called to verify). The head nurse got all fussy cause she didn't know how I would react to the higher hormones and blah blah blah. Well how will you know unless I try it? Just a thought.

And I can specifically look up Loestrin 24 Fe through my insurance and it'll tell me the cost and then it'll give me generic forms under it that I can take if I want to. Stupid insurance. That's basically the reason I switched to this drug because I was told there was a generic and it would cost less. Oh well. I'll figure out how to work it into my budget somehow. At least the card will help for a few months. Thanks for the info on that btw.
