Kariya..the pharmacy is right, there is no generic for Loestrin 24..HOWEVER. there is a generic for regular Loestrin  Fe1/20. The only difference being that the regular loestrin 1/20 fe has 21 days of active tablets and the 24 has 24 days of active tablets. The loestrin 24 savings card will save you money. You dont have to bring the card in when you drop off the prescription..any pharmacy worth its salt will edit the claim when you come into pick up the prescription--they have to put in the card to their system like an insurance plan. We like it when it's presented at drop off, but we dont mind either if it is presented at pick up, after all it only takes a minute or so to put the info in and rebill the claim with the insurance and discount card. The discount card will take about 24 dollars off of your out of pocket expenses.
