1 - dog I took from a frat house. He was wasted drunk and stumbling all over the place. The assholes got this puppy drunk. I named him Harley and we found him a super awesome farm to grow up on. He lived a full, happy life!

2- cat I took from some friend's friends house. She hadn't been fed for a while. She was skin and bones and I watched them throw her around like a ball. I finally said, "Listen, I'm taking that cat with me" and I did. She lived a full life also. She actually was just put down last summer and she was 15. Man, she was a grouchy cat though. Not that I blame her.

3- cat I got from a pet store. He was in the back in a cage because he was an older cat and the owner couldn't sell them anymore because they were older. It was he and his brother and I could only take one and to this day I still feel horrible for not taking his brother. We named him Mylo and he was THE coolest cat I've ever had. God, I loved him and I could tear up just talking about him. He was also put down last summer. He had cancer and was only 7 years old.

4- dog who I still have. He was actually my ex-bfs dog but I got her during the breakup. A guy had given her to his gf as a present. My dog was whining one night and the bf broke her leg. The gf took her to the vet the next day and told them the story and said she didn't want the dog. So my ex took her after her surgery and nursed her back to health after that. She's pretty much the shit and I love her to death. I'm beyond grateful she's in my life. Love, love, love her. She's very sensitive to this day but I think it also has to do with her breed. She does not like yelling or when anyone raises their voices. God, I love her.
