Yeah, no. Ask a parent who has a developmentally delayed child if they ever laugh at their child. If they didn't, they'd be depressed or go crazy. I didn't see the OP say "what a retard" or anything derogatory, she was laughing at the situation and what he wrote.


I work with special needs children, yes...parents laugh at their kids...but I hightly doubt many parents of special needs children laugh at something the kid has done that is because of the mental or physical disability their kid has...
Agree, I worked for the Special Olympics for a couple of years and yeah parents would laugh WITH their kids, but never at. I know it's foreign to some people to not be douchebags, but not everyone is.
