I can see the faint line but the control is sooo much darker. In my experience when it's positive there is no mistaking the test line- if it reacts it reacts and turns dark. For me it has looked that way in the past when I wasn't pregnant because the paper got wet so you could see the line but it was faint like yours.

I would wait a few days and pee again first thing in the am. You could also try a different type of test. Could just be too early.
All three of my pregnancies were faint lines, two so faint I really was unsure whether it was there or not.  But it was there.  Every other test I've taken has been unarguably negative.

Re: a different test.  I have seen the kind you're using before but have not used them and know nothing about them.  Go to your closest Dollar General or Dollar Tree store and buy their test.  $1 (obviously) at DT and I think only $1 or $1.50 at DG.  (The DG version is "Baby Test."  DT's is the same manufacturer but it has a different name and I can't remember what it is off hand.)  Based on a ton of anecdotal evidence, my own included, they are the most sensitive tests on the market.  Grab two of those, come home, take one right away and update us.    Then, just in case, save the other for a couple of days from now.

Would you believe my dollar store doesn't carry dollar tests?  Yeah, the only one they have they keep BEHIND THE COUNTER (how weird) and it's 14 bucks for ONE TEST!!!!
The ones above are internet cheapies I bought 10 at a time. smiley: laugh  I read pink dye tests are the most reliable, so that's why I got them.  I'll def be trying an EPT or something in a few days.  I'm excited!  Once I get a positive, I'm trying to think of ways to tell DH.  All I can picture is Rebecca on Full House telling Uncle Jesse with all of the 'baby' foods... baby back ribs, baby carrots...
