I think the field I'm going into is always hiring and I'm hoping my internship and minor will give me a leg up. I don't know about staying at home me and my mom are ready to kill each other. I'm 24 and am just so ready to be on my own. I already plan on staying home a few months after grad to save up and pay down debts so finishing in december will be even longer.

Also glad to see so many were still able to buy homes. I know its gonna take a few years to rebuild my credit though.

what field? nursing? engineering? accounting? Otherwise, not to be Debbie Downer, but everyone in college thinks they'll be in demand until they graduate and see how the recession is
Yeah it really depends on what field you are in if you'll get a job easier or not. I have my degree and found it is harder to get a job now than it was before I graduated. Most places want experience over a degree now especially because they can pay those people less money than they would normally.  Honestly, I have almost 50K in loans and it is NOT worth being $30,000 in debt for graduating earlier by 4 months. When you're trying to buy a house or save money you will struggle when you have to make loan payments as well.

If you really want to save why not take summer off school and get a temporary or seasonal job to earn some cash and resume again in the fall? That way you're not only saving yourself money in the long run but also getting a head start on saving.
