Meh. I think (as a born again Christian) that the Bible leaves too much open for interuperation (omg i suck at spelling today, im sorry... super sleepy). I think it's mainly for guidelines on how to live. I also think that those select Christians and groups that claim to be Christians get very twisted. They take a verse/passage that can mean 10 different things to 10 different people and they say their way of understanding is right. And the in the case of 'gays'... They seem to forget about anything and everything that any of the apostles and/or Jesus say about treating people/sinners/their neighbors/etc.

As a Christian I will say this: I am VERY tollerant of other people. I catch myself judging people (in my head) and I stop myself. I've gotten a lot better about it as I've gotten older and stopped thinking my shit don't stink (just as a teenager/early twenties, that had nothing to do with being a Christian). I am pro choice, pro gay marriage, etc. I find it very sad that there are still so many closed minded people in the 21st century. FFS, we had a store cover elton john and his hubby and their baby because that was supposedly offensive. Certain groups/churches make me seriously sick. I just have to believe that their time will come and they will have to stand before God and be rightfully judged on their actions. Mainly, turning people away from God because of their actions, instead of preaching His love and acceptance which would bring more to Him.
