I've posted on here my thoughts on the subject. I passed the bar the first time I took it 2 1/2 years ago. After law school, I got a very low paying (poverty level with no benefits) attorney job and it took me 8 months after I got my bar results to get that one. I had to leave that job for my current job which is not in my field but at least it pays enough for me to support myself and I have retirement and benefits. I'm working hard to paying down my loans which I'm happy aren't anywhere near $100,000. A lot of the people I went to law school with are not practicing law. Some have gotten jobs though. I stopped looking for jobs as an attorney about a year ago.
