Sure feels like it with that response.

I told him I'm going to support/help him emotionally because I love him and I want to see him succeed. I just can't keep supporting him the way a parent does, like driving him back and forth, giving him the car, lending him money, because it starts to make me become a parent instead of a girlfriend, which is what is happening.

I think that's a valid statement to make?
If hes making 1200 a month at the minimum and not helping you with rent, something is very wrong. If he turns this around on you and makes it seem like you're the bad guy, then something is very, very wrong. In general, if a guy loves a girl and is serious about her, he will try to help provide in some way--its like a pride thing. I don't know whether you will be successful or not, because you sound a little co-dependent to be honest, and I'm not saying that to be mean. I'm not saying dump him, but he needs to man up and show you where his money is going at the very least.
Oh, and how old are you guys?
