I'm all for forgiveness and second chances but I think it's perfectly understandable that a lot of people (me included) will have a hard time "forgiving" or liking someone that did something so horribly cruel and heartless. It wasen't a mistake, it was A WHOLE LOT more than a mistake, what kind of character does it take to hurt and kill and even torture innocent animals like that?
I'm not trying to judge but I don't see how anybody can be sane or decent when they have that in them, I just don't see it. And I feel the same about anybody that has done something that fucked up, be it to a person or an animal, I don't need to compare different crimes and fucked up shit to see what's worse, there's just certain things you DON'T do and that includes hurting anybody or anything in such a terrible way for effed up reasons. Everyone fucks up yes, and nobody is perfect but this is not an every day kind of fuck up, this is the act of either someone very disturbed or very cold and it scares the crap out of me that he's back to be idolized and celebrated. People sometimes ask me why I even care about animals and why I don't just care about people instead and that just blows my mind, why do i have to choose? I care about every creature with a beating heart and when someone do something as vicious and downright disgustingly cold as Vick did, then I won't ever be able to look at them the same, and I honestly don't understand how others can but I respect that we all have different opinions and thinking.
