What I don't understand is why people are so relentlessly judgmental. As if you'll never do something you'll regret. Yes, what he did was sick, and it sucks that he didn't have the sense to know that in the first place, but there comes a point where there's nothing he can do but learn and move on from it. I really don't see the point in holding this against him for eternity.

But hey, if you choose to never forgive him, well... that's on you. But conversely, if other people can see the change he's made, believe he's sorry, and like that he's doing well, why should you care?
