^ yes, . I grew up with goldens. My last one was Casey(my avatar---with Smeagol, the cat); he died the same year my uncle did.  Our dachshund is actually our first non-golden in our lives. My brother got him and then left him with my parents when he moved out. We actually always joked back then  that if ever thieves would enter our house, Casey would show them where the loot would be, . Seriously though, one of her goldens, Max is a rescue and was abused. He barks like crazy at any sound and that starts off the other 2, Sam and what's-his-name---i always forget his name. Anyway, when they all bark at the same time, it's really intimidating . Oh and yeah, my aunt is also a registered gun owner. She's quite protected compared to my mom. Our little dachshund is fierce but he's so tiny, one kick by a criminal and he's flying,
