Bar two articles I have not seen anyone say that Thicke is trying to be Justin or anything in the way that Justin had to deal with (and still deals with) that MJ crap. And even though many people today rag on that man at every chance they get he never said anything remotely bad, he was composed and just disagreed. It's not that hard to do. Thicke however has been acting like an arse about it and naturally a few people have a problem with that. No one is saying Robin needs to rejoice at the mere mention of Justin's name, people are just tired of his comments, which in my opinion have been unnecessarily callous. He doesn't need to be pleased with the comparisons, but to act as if he is above them and to talk about Justin's music as if he actually knows anything about it rather than just disagreeing with them or barring the questions prior to the interviews, is what is annoying people.Thank you.
Thicke not likely to unseat Timberlake

Okay I can understand what you are saying. See, I keep thinking about the collective albums from both artists and not just their latest efforts. Thicke's
first album is so different from anything Justin did IMO so the comparison just doesn't seem to fit. However, for those who are not aware of that album may
think he is very similar to Timberlake with the falsetto and the I Just Wanna Love You Girl which was produced by Pharrell.
And I always agreed that Thicke's comments were not cool because he is not really respecting Timberlake's music. He's downgrading Justin's music to try to make his seem more creditable. Ironically, I think some people on here have been doing just that to defend Justin. But I guess it all boils down to people's opinions. And I still think the comparison is not fair. And I still hate that article. We can agree to disagree cause we can go on forever with this. lol |

Yep, agree to disagree. I disagree with the comparison as well but I do agree with a couple of points made in the article. I do think it was unnnecessary to
make the comparison, same goes for the Usher and MJ comparisons Justin gets, though I guess the writer was responding to comments about Thicke being the new
Justin.
