Mac Time Machine or other backup program?

Posts: 17624 12/22/2009 6:48 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Tags : mac, backup, time machine After dealing with some of my design team losing assets because of Mac's unreliable drives, I finally got a portable drive to backup my personal Mac because I get freaked out that it might happen. It prompts for Time Machine, but I have heard some issues with it. My drive is a Toshiba one that comes with NTI Shadow. Any other recs?

Just keep it safe from bumps and overheating. How much information do you have? perhaps if its not too much, you should look into online virtual storage

This drive is actually very well reviewed. I just need something just in case, but I hear some people don't like Time Machine. I haven't really looked into it.

Bulit in backup software on drives never works on Macs anyway. Maybe i'm different but ive never had a problem with time machine and i do daily backups
