People who say they're ready to order and then make me stand there for 10 minutes while they decide. I have stuff to do, if you're not ready, tell me to come back. 2. People who ask me stupid questions. "I want this pasta, I like a lot of sauce, but not too much sauce. I want it saucy but not overly saucy. Does it have too much sauce or just the right amount?" 3. People who forget to leave a signed copy of the credit card slip. 4. People who split the check and one person thinks they don't need to leave a tip because their friend left one. 5. People who show up by themselves and wait on their party for an hour. 6. People who order generic menu items. You'll have a hamburger, great. There are 12 hamburgers on the menu, please choose one. 7. People who ask me "what's better?" and then name two equally awful items. 8. People who ask me questions like "What will reheat well?" or "What's good for an upset stomach?" 9. People who order hot tea.

Cracking and smacking gum is so irritating but equally annoying is chewing it like the cud. saying "you know" in every sentence.
