I still think that this film lacked character development. After watching it, I had no idea why Billie was in love with Johnny.

Didn't Billie love John because he accepted her even though she was french/ indian??? Or something like that lol, I liked it, Johnny Depp looked good!

I get giddy whenever I see the trailer on TV because I'm like "ooh that looks like Wisconsin, ooh that looks like Wisconsin!" We Wisconsinites
have little to live for, this is exciting

It wasn't that good IMO. However, all the hotties looked extremely hot - except for Billie Crudup (sp) ; and Marion Cotillard stole the show, she was
pretty awesome.

I thought it was pretty good but it could have been amazing. The acting was good and all but I felt as though the film was missing something though--I
can't put my finger on it but there's something definitely lacking.

Saw it today, loved it! I might be a bit biased though, the whole movie could have just been Johnny and Christian in the jail scene staring at each other,
blowing spit bubbles and I would have walked away saying "AMAZING!"
I really did love it though, I love gangster films. I love that time period, everyone was fantastic and I loved all that glorious 30's music. |

This has got to be one of the worst films ever this year. Such a promising cast and such a disappointing script. It was such a crappy cat and mouse chase.
Dialogue had no substance, movie was way too long, and what was with the crappy home video esque shooting. People were walking out of my theatre and laughing
at parts where it was supposed to be emotional and sad. Johnny's acting was still top notch, but the script couldn't save him.

It was okay. Johnny Depp is great and carried it, but it was a mediocre script (Michael Mann needs to stop trying to write and just stick to directing) and
Bale and Crudup were totally wasted. But the cinematography was fucking incredible. Beautifully shot.

I saw it on Friday and loved it. Johnny did a great job as Dillinger.

It was pretty good. Lots of gun action and Depp looked ever so cool. Bale was nice too.
