There are a lot of things Alex Baldwin could write a book about -- acting, generating gravitas, owning your gravel voice, eating your way from drama to comedy -- but scribbling an instructional guide on how to parent simply isn't one of them.

He tells the new issue of Playboy, "it will be ironic for some people, but I'm going to write a parenting book. We're at ... an awful place right now in terms of parenting. Kids have too much power and call too many of the shots, telling their parents what they will and won't do."

Might chapter one be titled, "Putting Your Little Piggies in their Place?"
