She was singing a Kanye West song, and she said it. I didn't say anything about it at first, but later in private I asked her if she had indeed said it. She said yes, but that it was part of the song. I told her that she can't say that word. I don't care how many times black artists put that in their songs, it's unacceptable for it to come out of her mouth.

Don't get me wrong, I think that word should be abandoned altogether, but this girl is my friend and she should know better. She looked at me like I was insane, but she'll just have to get over it.
