So I made some in ice cream cones. I know you keep red velvet cake cool so I need to refrigerate the cupcakes right? Should I do that before or after I icing
them? I tried one already and oh I'm soo good

If you use cream cheese frosting you're supposed to refrigerate it. I don't think the cake itself needs to be refrigerated.
