In all honesty, ALL of their sets were great. For me, Scott's was the only one that was a bit of a snoozer, but he did a Keane song I really like. Even Michael and Megan were enjoyable for me, and Lil was a very pleasant surprise as to how entertaining she was. She got everyone dancing. Anoop's vocals were mind-blowingly incredible - I got chills. Matt was amazing, totally funky white boy, dancing, playing piano, singing while standing and playing piano AND dancing all at the same time...AWESOME. Allison was also incredible - vocals just out of this world, and her dancing was adorable. Danny was surprisingly (for me) good. [Yeah, sure!]His voice sounded so strong compared to his performances on the show, and his dancing was a lot more smooth and less awkward. Adam was indescribably UH-MAAAAAAAAAAZING. Seriously, I was just in complete awe. His vocals were clear, strong, and IMPECCABLE and his performance...guh. Some of those moves left me about to melt into a pool of Abdul. It's hard to put into words really, you just have to see it for yourself. Kris was solid, strong, and very enjoyable. A great selection of songs (Bright Lights, Hey Jude) except No Boundaries (but that obviously wasn't a choice) and he really engaged the crowd during Hey Jude. The group songs were well-harmonized and coordinated. I loved Don't Stop Believing - lots of Kradam interaction at the end. Pretty much a really great show...I can't wait to see it again and from the same front row seats.

I'd say all of Matt's songs had a soulful edge, but Hard To Handle was more rock-ish. He really danced and got into that one.


Favorite sets for me would be ADAM (absolutely #1), Kris, Allison, Matt, Anoop, and Danny [Fuckery lies, I say.] Seriously all of the Top 6 blew me away. And I don't think I mentioned before that Anoop did a lot of sexy dancing. Like, GYRATING. It was kinda dorky but kinda hot at the same time. And he put on this really dorky pair of black and blue rimmed glasses in the middle of his set.

Oh and several of the Idols did a lot of shirt-unbuttoning and shirt removing. Lil took off a long blinged-out trench coat to reveal a form-fitting pantsuit before Single Ladies, Anoop took off his jacket before My Prerogative, Danny took off his coat before Maria Maria and then unbuttoned his shirt several times [LEAVE IT ON], Adam took off his AMAZING SkinGraft jacket before the Bowie Medley, for which he was only wearing a black tank top. [!!!!!!]


I recall that "Tell Her About It" turned into a Motown medley (lots of coordinated dancing, all the guys (minus Danny/Adam/Kris) standing at the front of the stage in a line, etc) and then there was Beggin'...both together seemed pretty long. Each person got quite a few of their own lines.

Everyone did a small amount of talking to the audience except Adam, oddly enough. [HBIC GOES INTO HIS OWN WORLD!] Scott joked about the Ryan Seacrest "high five heard 'round the world" at his audition.
