Seriously. I'm going to be 26 years old in a month and this is the first time I've ever had a hangover or I've ever gotten sick from drinking....I
barely drink when I go out. I pretty much want to die and can't focus on much at all. I ate some toast and have drank water but even my head feels like
the goodyear blimp.

Not much you can do.
I always try to take advil and drink a glass of water before I go to bed but it's a little late for that for you. Just try to keep
rehydrating yourself.

I couldn't even drink water last night. Well I did drink it and I threw it all back up. I felt so bad because my mom stayed up basically all night with me
because she was worried I'd hit my eyes or something. And it's so embarrassing at almost 26 I did this.

If you can stomach it, eggs really help.

Honestly, Alkesaltzers are miraculous for me. I was pretty hung over yesterday (also running on two hours sleep about going to work) and after taking some of
that I actually felt normal --- just dead tired.

I've ate toast and eggs, taken excedrin, and still want to die.
I just feel like someone hit me with a tractor trailer. Actually, that'd be a different pain so it might feel better than this overall just ickiness. |

Try Gatorade. I'm not sure if you have Gravol in the States, I think you might call it something else. I usually take that the morning after if I feel like
throwing up. It calms my stomach and helps me sleep.

Yeah, when it's bad, the best thing is to sleep it off if you can. I doubt anything would help much right now but sometimes Coke makes it a little better
for me.

The revive vitamin water really helps me if i have a headache hangover. If i have a puking/nausea hang over nothing but sleep really helps. Sometimes i take
benadryl to knock myself out.
I heard eating a banana before/while you drink prevents a hangover. Something about the potassium and the fact that it coats your stomach. |

You are lucky that this is your first hangover. Not that you're old, but I probably had my first one at 18. :P I think the older I get the worse they are!

G2 and a Multi Vitamin. Something that you can stomach that will fill your stomach the toast and eggs sounds like a good idea but it doesn't fill. I find
that you think you aren't hungry because you feel like crap but once you get something into you that fills you up it knocks off the hangover a lot

I'm about ready to have someone take me to Five Guys and get a burger.
I tried to sleep but I just can't. I slept from 1:30 am until 12:45 pm. I have a feeling I'll be in bed early and might take a benadryl later. However, benadryl usually gives me this awful feeling the next day. So I probably shouldn't do that. And I guess I am lucky I've never had a hangover until now. Now I know why I've never drank too much. |

Next time make sure to drink water throughout the night. Worst case scenario, drink one large glass of water right before you go to bed. If you've really
outdone yourself, drink a couple glasses of water. Most of the crapiness you feel from a hangover is due to being dehydrated.

I did drink a lot of water last night! And I drank water before I went to sleep but I threw it up.
My friend gave me her sprite & tequila. I don't drink either of those separately because they make me sick. I was fine until I had that. After that I only had one drink and I was SLOSHED then. |
