Can't fault for them for latching onto something different. 3) People being invested in this says NOTHING about priority.

But really, if you get this upset over the death of a celebrity, how do you react when someone you actually know dies. People just shut down and would rather not hear any real news, I understand.

I'm loving the renewed love for his music and for him as a person. I've been listening to his music for a week straight now and it just reminds me how shitty 90 percent of music is now and how there will never be another one like him.

I agree with that, but I'm tired of hearing about the specualtion and all of the scandals that are finally being cleared up. Where was the truth when he was alive?

I understand that he was someone who a lot of people had a place in their heart for but some people act like he was the center of their world and now has died when you know some people hadn't even played one of his records in years and had basically forgotten about him until he died. Some people are seriously overdramatic about it. I'd probably care more about his passing had two of my closest friends not passed away last Tuesday. You can just SWITCH the channel. After his funeral it will die down...remember Anna Nicole Smith? Well this is 100X bigger than that. He was a world super star for 20+ years.
