It's not just on TV. It's on the internet. I'm not going to shut myself off from everything just because of this.

Yeah, I realize he was huge. But really, if you get this upset over the death of a celebrity, how do you react when someone you actually know dies. People just
shut down and would rather not hear any real news, I understand.

And like someone else: no one is forcing you to watch it. There's plenty of stuff on besides the news. It's not like he's on every channel. Obviously he'll be on all the news channels because he's big news. |

Living in Los Angeles, it's hard to avoid any channel talking about MJ in 5 minutes.

I don't watch tv much to begin with but I don't want to hear all the new crazy rumors and speculations that are and will continue to pop up. I'm
loving the renewed love for his music and for him as a person. I've been listening to his music for a week straight now and it just reminds me how shitty
90 percent of music is now and how there will never be another one like him.

I'm somehow managing to watch TV AND surf the internet without being swamped with MJ coverage, if you want to avoid it. You can.
Most of the stuff I see online is right here on JJB. |

I'm tired of literally every other JJB thread being about Michael, yeah. I understand that he was someone who a lot of people had a place in their heart
for but some people act like he was the center of their world and now has died when you know some people hadn't even played one of his records in years and
had basically forgotten about him until he died. Some people are seriously overdramatic about it. I'd probably care more about his passing had two of my
closest friends not passed away last Tuesday. That kind of changes your outlook, any celebrity in the world could have passed away and I wouldn't have
blinked.

I haven't watched the news, I can filter out what I want...its easy really.
You can just SWITCH the channel. After his funeral it will die down...remember Anna Nicole Smith? Well this is 100X bigger than that. He was a world super star for 20+ years. |
