I didn't think it was going to be over in a day or two or anything. I don't mind that they are covering it just seems like all day everyday

I'm getting a bit tired of it also but I'm still drawn to it. But I'll be happy when not every news magazine show is about him and I won't miss
the dozens of new posts here daily about it. But I guess the man deserves his time. It should start slowing down a bit after the memorial service but of course
there will be all the stuff about his Estate. I told myself yesterday to just try not to sweat it so I skip most of the new repetitive threads and just peek a
bit into the ones that have an interesting subject line.

selfish love wrote: Me too. The there are a lot of unanswered questions still surrounding his death so it's going to be talked about for a while. The coverage will fade eventually. And to the people saying get over it, how incredibly rude. He meant a lot to a lot of people. I swear, people bitch about everything. I wasn't a fan of Heath Ledger but the coverage and talk about his death didn't annoy me. |

I understand that some people are tired of it, but this guy had a big impact on music everywhere and he had a impact on the world also. I mean did you see the
thread with pictures of fans EVERYWHERE having either a vigil or service for him?
This man was very much loved in the world and I hope he knew that

Oh i'm not trying to say it annoys me or anything. the man does deserve his time or that we need to 'get over it' it just seems like they are
repeating the same information

I don't mind, I'm still interested. It's almost historical, really. And there's still a lot of questions that need answers. It's not a very
straight forward case. There's the funeral coming up (and I'm quite curious to see how they're going to organize something that monumental),
there's the autopsy results, there's the custody issue about the kids, etc.

There are still questions about the day he died in my mind, for some reason to me, that Doctor seems shady.. but I know nothing I know, but for some reason he
seems shady.
But anyways, I still miss him! There's never going to be another Michael Jackson!

Yes there's been a lot of coverage, but he was Michael Jackson so it's expected. I'd rather see this much coverage on him than the other vapid
self-important celebs the media spends so much time covering these days.

Kinda sorta...I mean I think sometimes seeing it every few seconds doesn't help me with getting over it. He was an amazing artist and I've liked him
since I was like 4 years old, but it's getting to be too much.

It only annoys me when I turn on MSNBC or CNN expecting to see reporting on real news and instead have to watch Michael Jackson's last rehearsal for the
umpteenth time. I don't mind seeing that stuff on E! or ONTD though.

I get what you are saying Justinz. It just seems that it's the ONLY news and sometimes half of it is BS. I'm thinking the Admins here should probably
have also made a temporary forum just for Michael Jackson thread also or maybe even a long term one seeing as there will be a lot to discuss for years
afterwards with his estate.

To add to other points that have been mentioned...I am actually surprised some people seem to be astounded by the amount of coverage his death is getting. The
media fiended on him and made him a media circus when he was alive practically for most of his life. He lived in the public eye. He is also most likely one of
the biggest international superstars. His death was of course going to warrant this kind of attention. It will definetly not die down until only after a couple
of weeks or so. He is an epic icon and died too soon and so unexpectedly. People (whether they like him or not) want answers and will only feed on more
information about him. The media is over-saturated with coverage o his death because that is what the public wants, to know more all about this tragedy.

I'm not astounded. I'm just sick of hearing about it constantly. I don't mind some coverage, but hearing anything constantly is annoying.

Yes. I realize that it is going to get a lot of coverage, but it's everywhere I look and I'm hearing the same things over and over.
