I'm not sure what to think about her. We really don't know anything about her at all. Who knows, maybe she'd be a great guardian, maybe she'd
suck.
What bothers me is that MJ wanted Katherine to care of the kids, and that the kids obviously know Katherine better than Debbie. So Debbie really doesn't seem like the best option at all; regardless of her parental skills and personality. Plus, she adds an extra issue to the situation, because what happens to the smallest child then? |

I really hope that she doesn't get custody. From her previous interviews it doesn't appear that these children know her at all and will at some point
find out that she basically sold them to Michael and gave multiple interviews saying she didn't want them.
I don't know, maybe she is sincere, I doubt it but if she is and she does get custdy of the 2 she probably wouldn't get custody of the 3rd so I think for the children's sake it'd be better if they all lived together in the Jackson household (where Joe clearly does not live) and she should get visitation or joint custody and a chance to build a relationship with them (if she genuinely wants one that is). Although it doesn't appear that she had any interest in them at all. That comment about him not holding up his side or whatever sounds to me like he promised her more money in his will or something rather than him promising her custody in the event of his death. I'm sure she would have said that if it was anything like that. She just seems really shady and insincere. Someone said that Katherine lives with some of her children and their families right? So she would hardly be an 80 year old raising them alone and in the event of her death I'd guess if that Diana as back up part came into play, as someone quite old herself and obviously a close family friend, she'd probably leave them with his siblings and their families who they seem to know as their actual family and have grown up around so I don't think Michael wanting Katherine to be their guardian is a negative thing. Especially as Joe lives elsewhere. |
