I've had diarrhea for four days now, and it's really starting to suck! Every time I eat, I shit it out again like an hour or two later. And I'm
supposed to work an 8-hour shift tomorrow. So my choices are either don't eat all day or hold my diarrhea all day (I'll be the only one there, so I
won't have time to go let it all out). FML.

I can't believe having diarrhea at work is an option.

I don't think I CAN call out...there are only 2 other employees, and they gave me this shift b/c neither of them could work it. I might call them tomorrow
and see if they can at least cover the second half or something. I've never once called in sick in over a year at this job, so I guess it would be fair.

you should eat white rice. It helps... bind.

Yeah? I have some...but I don't want to eat it right before bed.
I should start googling foods that cause constipation. |

Bananas...hmm. That could work. They seem binding.
I eat crackers all the damn time, so I don't think that would work. But I'll try the bananas and rice tomorrow night. |

Chug some Pepto Bismol. I had the serious runs on Tuesday and that blocked me up good.

Bananas have tons of fiber in them, right? Why woud you eat that if you're creating your own shitstorm?

Is it a virus or IBS?

I do have IBS and usually it causes constipation more than diarrhea, but when it does cause diarrhea it's just once a day like my normal poos. I've pooed at least 5x today, and like 3x every day for the three days before. So I think this is something foreign. |

With my IBS I get more diarrhea then constipation. Sometimes I don't even get through my meal

Oh wow, that SUCKS!
I definitely don't have severe IBS by any stretch of the imagination. I have trouble going a lot of the time, but that's
usually about it. Oh, and gas. |

I was diagnosed and my mom has it really bad. She told me to eat cottage cheese, yogurt, and toast and I would be fine. She got down to 94lbs once because
everything made her sick.

Oh yeah, foods with probiotics! I actually have some probiotic pills. I should probably take one. I bought them and took the first one like 6 months ago, and I
got a HORRIBLE stomachache and never took them again.
I'm really hungry right now, but I don't want to eat and then shit my pants in my sleep. |

*takes notes*
What worries me a little is I seem to be getting worse every day, not better. I guess it's just running its course. The first day I was achy and disoriented, then I was just tired and nauseous, then the diarrhea came. But tomorrow's a new day!

sorry!"
