It varies a lot, but usually $40-70 for just me.

I don't know because my mom does the shopping, but in one trip we could easily spend $100-150. My mom loves to cook so I'd guess $400 a week for four
people?

Anywhere between 35-90 for me. Just depends on how much stuff I'm out of.

Lately about $65 a week for 2 people and that doesn't include household items, toiletries, or pet stuff since I get all that from BJs. When I used to get
all that at the grocery store it was about 100/week. I don't get spending $50/month unless you just live off pasta and sanwiches. I buy a lot of fresh
produce and meat so it adds up I guess.

Suzy321 wrote:Mine is more like $60/mo, but I don't eat out. I just bought $28 worth of groceries and it will last me 2 weeks no problem. I guess I don't eat that much, I don't know. For breakfast I'll usually have a bagel and cream cheese, a sandwich and maybe a banana for lunch, and then maybe some type of pasta with chicken for dinner. Maybe some chips, nuts, or fruit in between as a snack. Not every day, but that's a basic example for me. I eat a lot of potatoes (which are fairly cheap)...baked potato, mashed, potato salad, etc. So 1 bag of potatoes goes a long way. I also make a lot of rice dishes...I make my own version of a chicken fried rice thing (except I add in bbq sauce) and that lasts me about 3 dinner servings or so. I don't know...I don't buy a lot of pre packaged stuff (like frozen meals) or junk food...that stuff adds up QUICK. |

I'd say $150-$175 for two adults and four Guinea Pigs (They are included because of the amount of fresh produce they eat)
