I had a co2 laser tonsillectomy today because of mono and my tonsils taking over the world. They said they've never seen tonsils the size of mine! 
The only reason I got my meds down was because of applesauce.  I wish I could just eat normal foods again.. and it's only been a few hours.

I have heard that getting your tonsils out is really painful and unfun. Hope your throat feels better quick!
