Her getting custody of Prince and Paris would essentially separate them from their youngest sibling. She's also very unstable.

Look at OJ Simpson, he was accused of killing his children's mother but still was granted custody of the children. Nicole's family couldn't get
them.
As much as we don't like Debbie Rowe, she is their mother and was the one who was there for Michael to give him children. I don't think she will get them, she has a long battle on her hands but very possible, she will get visitation rights and have the children be more and more in her life. |

I can deal with visitation. I don't think anyone would deny her if she wanted to see her children. The problem is she wants to raise them. And it's too
little, too late for that bullshit.

Grrr. And what about Blanket? He's all of a sudden going to be an only child then? Fuck you Debbie..... and she can't get a restraining order for Joe
unless she has something to base it on. "He was mean to Michael" won't cut it.

Debbie Rowe to Seek Custody of Jackson Kids Originally posted Thursday July 02, 2009 04:00 PM EDT
Debbie Rowe, the mother of Prince, 12, and Paris, 11, spoke to her former attorney Iris Finsilver, who says, "She is going to be pursuing custody of the children." "Frankly, she won't have to fight for them," Finsilver tells PEOPLE. "She is the children's biological mother. She loves her children." The kids, along with a third child, Prince Michael II (Blanket), 7, whose mother is unknown, are in the temporary court-ordered care of Jackson family matriarch Katherine Jackson, 79, whom the singer named as guardian in his 2002 will. (Diana Ross was also named, in the event that Katherine was no longer living.) A source close to the Jackson family says they intend to seek permanent custody. "They will fight," says the source. Rowe earlier made her position clear July 2 in an interview with a Los Angeles television station, saying, "I want my children." "I am stepping up," she told a reporter for Los Angeles station NBC 4 in a 90-minute phone conversation. "I have to." Rowe also said she'd be willing to take custody of Blanket to keep the three children together, and she may seek a restraining order to keep her former father-in-law, Joe Jackson, away from her children. http://www.people.com/people/package/article/0,,20287787_20289317,00.html She won't have to fight for them? Uh dude she will! And it's going to be a LONG Fight. Did some of you not read the part where it said she wanted Blanket also? Knowing that she might not get him but still wants him. |

Of course she wants him. It's a bigger check if she's got 3 kids instead of 2.
She needs to sit her ass down somewhere. |

Attorney: Debbie Rowe "Has Not Reached a Final Decision" About Kid Custody
Thursday July 2, 2009 ![]() Richard Beetham/Splash News Despite reports that Debbie Rowe plans to fight for custody of her two children with Michael Jackson, her lawyer insists she has not made up her mind on the matter. "Debbie Rowe has not reached a final decision concerning the custody proceedings," attorney Eric M. George told reporters during a press conference Thursday. "As many of you know, my belief is that the pending custody proceedings are the most private and the most sensitive of matters as they impact the lives and the fates of young children. To that end, I've endeavored out of respect for Michael's children and family, especially in this time of grieving, to keep silence on these matters, to deny all interview requests and to share only that information involving upcoming public court proceedings." See how Michael Jackson's face has changed over the years Earlier Thursday, NBCLA's Chuck Henry reported that he has spoken to Rowe - mother of Prince, 12, and Paris, 11 - and she told him, "I want my children." Although Rowe herself has not spoken publicly about the custody proceedings, George said, "I have no reason to doubt that what was reported from that conversation was accurately and ethically reported, but that said, it would be a distortion of the truth to allow that single snapshot of a single conversation, to stand as the truth on Debbie's position on this sensitive matter." Revisit Michael Jackson's most unforgettable moments "Once again, the truth is that Debbie has not reached a final decision concerning the pending custody proceedings," he concluded. "When Debbie does take a position in the public forum of a court, those positions will, of course, be conveyed to all interested persons. In the meantime, I very much appreciate everybody's continued respect for Debbie's privacy at this time, and I'm very sorry, but I cannot address any questions at this time." See photos of Michael Jackson and his kids through the years In Jackson's will (released Wednesday) the singer -- who died at age 50 after suffering cardiac arrest June 25 -- named his mother Katherine as guardian of his three children - Prince, Paris and 7-year-old Blanket. (If Katherine died before him or couldn't serve as guardian, Jackson nominated Diana Ross, according to Jackson's will.) He "intentionally" omitted Rowe from his will, he said. Look back at Michael Jackson's life Last week, Katherine filed a petition in Los Angeles Probate Court seeking legal guardianship of the children. (In her 22-page petition, she claims the children "have no relationship with their biological mother.") A guardianship hearing scheduled for Monday has been postponed until July 13 at the request of attorneys for Rowe and Katherine Jackson. Rowe wed Jackson in 1996 (he was a patient in the dermatologist's office, where she worked as a nurse). The children were born through artificial insemination. (The new issue of Us Weekly exclusively reports that the children's father is Arnold Klein, Jackson's L.A.-based dermatologist and Rowe's former boss.) After Jackson and Rowe divorced in 1999, she agreed to give up her parental rights, insisting Jackson was a good father. Since their father's passing, the kids have been with the Jackson family and "are happy," Jackson patriarch Joe said at a press conference Monday. They're with "other young ones in the Jackson family.... They were never around other kids." A source tells Us the Jacksons have not yet reached out to Rowe.

So then where did the 90 minute conversation on the phone come from? Was that a fabrication?
OMG I am so over the news stations right now. Stop trying to outdo each other and get the scoop and let the dust settle so we can get some concrete information. |

I don't know I don't feel all the anger all of you seem to feel towards her. She said she gave the kids as a gift to Michael and that she thought he
was a great father. I don't see her disputing that. I just don't think she expected him to die at 50 before the kids even became teenagers. So she
decided to step up. I honestly don't think it's about the money, if it was she would have found a way to squeeze more out of him a long time ago. But I
guess I'm the lone wolf on this.
