Just because Quincy Jones knew him doesn't mean that Quincy didn't form opinions of him early on in their partnership together that he just held onto
for years and years... People do it all the time in daily life. Judge early, and see only what you want to see.
Everyone's all "Quincy keeps it REAL!, Quincy be keepin' it real! He knew Michael!" -- do you know Quincy Jones?  Just because you're
consistent in publicly stating bullshit does not mean that it's not bullshit. You just know better than to get your stories mixed up.
I'm not saying that Michael did or didn't use chemical peels (which don't bleach skin, they're acne-curing, mind you) or that he did or did not bleach his skin... but as someone stated it is documented and medically proven that the mad had vitiligo. How he chose to deal with it, however, is the one thing we don't know and won't know. Either way, doesn't change the fact that regardless of your opinions of a person, you do NOT run your mouth airing out someone's dirty laundry immediately after they die. For the sake of respecting them and respecting their family, you keep your damn mouth shut. Not to mention, Katie asked him about whether or not Michael felt loved by his father, not about no damn vitiligo/skin condition/chemical peels. |

Quincy Jones is full of it, the talk of Michael's blackness coming from a black man who has never been with a black woman. His
hypocrisy is quite astounding. Listening to him talk about Michael paying Teddy Riley four times what he paid him seems to be at the root of his snarkiness.
Michael sure did have people around him who did not have his best interest at heart.
I liked Michael through what ever demons he had to deal with through life and I did not even make millions off him. |

I was reading that and was thinking to myself was that even real? I cannot believe he said those things. Also, thanks to the person that mentioned Quincy not
ever being with a black woman. I remember when 2pac dissed him about that, he got all offended and didn't want his daughter being with Pac after that.
Whatever! I don't believe this shit about Quincy keeping it real. It is DISRESPECTFUL. He died, show respect, it is as simply as that. Let's talk about
the music, here he is talking about how Michael looks. I don't care how Michael looks, he can look like Shrek for all I care. I love the guy no matter
what. He was a genius, the best entertainer out there. What difference does it make to me? How he looks. He was amazing, had a big heart, that is all that
matters to me. Quincy is hurt because Michael stopped working with him a long long time ago. I think it was early 90's. Anyway, to sum it all up. I could
careless what Quincy says he looks like a fool anyways if you are talking about someone who just dead and he cannot defend himself.

I'm in agreement that Quincy sounds like a fecking prick and an utter arsehole with his beyond disrespectful, hypocritical, and bitter comments. Michale is
not even buried and he has one of his so called "friends" talking crap about him and just adding more fuel to the fire. It's dishonorable and
disrespectful. I also got the feeling he was not attending the memorial because of wanting to keep his travel plans. He's prick.
