See, the way he sings sometimes always led me to believe that his speaking voice wasn't as high as everyone thought it was. He was soft spoken but I
don't think his voice was always that high. He was no Barry White but come on. He could do some really low registers when he sang.
I love that song btw. |

Yeah! For some reason i always knew he could sing with a lower register. Love this song. I can see how originally the song was for Tyreese and his album

I had heard people say his real voice was deep. The only time I'd ever heard him sing deep was at the end of "You Can't Win" from The Wiz. I
didn't think this was him at first. He had huge range. Amazing.

queen, i dont think they manipulate his voice. His natural voice was deeper than what most thought, i think.
