No. Of course not. But that story was pretty wild and some of MJ's fans are CRAZY and all the media, etc. I just don't uderstand why they didn't
release the statement sooner, that's all. If I lived in LA I wouldn't have planned to go even if the story had been confirmed. And I've been a
Michael fan since OFF The Wall.

The Jackson family is WELL aware of the celebrity that Michaels life had, they also know about media and PR. There is no reason for this to be such a back and
forth. From the word go they needed an offical spokes person (not someone promoting a record label) to deal with the rumors.

The media has been out of control with their reporting, nobody sources or confirms story any more. Every rumor, speculation and conjecture is put out there as
news, if you will blame anybody, blame the media.
This people are doing the best they can to plan a funeral for their son knowing very well they have to accommodate the fans, they did not even get his will until yesterday, so a lot of things have to be fluid, the last thing they need to do is to babysit the petulant media people who cannot wait to confirm a story before putting it out there in their quest to break the news. |
