Ugh, she makes the BIGGEST fucking deal out of her birthday every year. Everyone has to drop what they're doing and she expects all kinds of presents and
counts down for like a year. Everyone else's birthdays aren't as important as far as she is concerned, and at the end of each one or the end of a
holiday she always says it's just "closer to mine now".
Her birthday is July 29th and my brother just texted me about how "The countdown has begun, it's July 1st", like he's warped into this too
... and I work at a restaurant, as does my boyfriend, so weekends in the summertime are really the only time to make much money, and they want us to
request off a Saturday night for her birthday. We are off on Sundays, and my sister in law and brother are not the type to be going out or anything like most
people would to celebrate a birthday on a Saturday night, all we will do is go out to dinner somewhere and then let her embellish in a fucking loot of
presents. It's a waste of a night off when we are the only ones in my family who work weekends.
