I really wanna know where randomly this came from! You know how it will randomly show one person to recommend to be your friend on the home page? Well up
pops my ex-boyfriend! We do NOT have ANY mutual friends.. barely in the same network.. and he was never my friend on facebook.. HOW'D YOU DO THAT
FACEBOOK?!

i don't have any mutual friends w/ someone, and have 2 completely different networks. and they suggested it.
i seriously wonder if it's not from email or something. I just don't get it |

I had my husband's girlfriend come up on mine several times. I then unfriended him and blocked her so I'd never have to see her skanky face again.

The only thing I'm thinking is that if he searched me and then it came up.

I think it has to do with email. That happened to me once and the only thing I could think of was that I had the person in my email contacts on my hotmail
account (you'd think there would have to be some sort of permission for that to happen)

I had the same thing happen to me - but I think it's because I used the Friend Finder/email tool in the past. All the random people who show up
are people that I emailed or have emailed me in the past.
If you didn't use the email tool, it's possible that the other person did. |

I made a post kind of like this yesterday when a JJBer showed up as a suggested friend! We have no mutual friends but we've emailed so I guess it was
because of the friend finder thing.

truelove97 wrote:Me too. People who I haven't dealt with in years and have no friends in common with are popping up on my suggestion box. I guess they now do the e-mail friend finder thing without us having to initiate it, which kind of creeps me out. Do I need to change my e-mail password? |

I have people who have attended workshops I've presented show up. The ONLY thing that links us is that they've sent me an email asking a question. The
email is a company one and the only thing I can think of is that it goes through Microsoft Outlook.
