LA is some place you visit, not where you live. The surrounding areas are nice to live in, but not directly LA itself...unless you live up in the Hollywood
Hills or something.

Just be sure to pack nothing but shorts and tank tops cause it is freakin' HOT. It's all 90's this week.

I moved to Palm Springs a year ago from Texas, and the first place I wanted to visit was LA! I love it there!! I've been about 4 times, but still have so
much more to see!
I went there Saturday and saw MJ's star on the walk of fame and then went to the Grove to take my daughter to see Ashley Tisdale. ![]()

I didn't like LA so much, the whole area makes no sense to me as a New Yorker.

I'm with DoesThatSparkle ... unless you're in Hollywood, or some beachfront property, LA is a place to visit. San Diego/La Jolla on the other hand...

DoesThatSparkle wrote: I don't agree, I think there are tons of nice places in L.A. to live. West L.A. is just one. So is Westwood. Then you have parts of Venice like the canals, or the valley along Ventura Blvd. I grew up in L.A. and lived there most of my life. I love it there, but it's just too crowded and too expensive now. If a couple million people left, I'd move back in a heartbeat. |

I loooove it there. I'd rather be in the San Diego area though. I'm obsessed with moving there but my boyfriend is convinced that everyone in that area
is a horrible person so he doesn't want to.

That's a big generalization considering how many millions of people live in Southern California.

I was just in LA this weekend and did the Starline Celebrity Homes tour. I didn't realize the big crowd and camera crew was for Michael Jackson at
Grauman's.
I wouldn't want to "live" in LA because of the crazy traffic and it's a little dirty. I like to visit, but that is it. The traffic is too much. I live in San Diego right now and it's more laid back. |
