I was going to say that they're a little old for most people here to date...

I'm Canadian and I've been dating a German for 6 years now. There are definitely differences, but not really a huge culture clash. Though I just got
back from visiting all his family in Germany - and that is somewhat difference because I speak very little German and they speak very little English.

Yes, years ago a very sexy Italian, another time a guy from Lebanon, and briefly in college a guy from Brazil who was on our soccer team.

Yes. There were differences, but it was never a big issue.

Yes and yes. He tried to pretend that his culture's views on women and marriage were not his, but I quickly realized as we got serious that they were very
much present. So it ended. Not anyone's fault, but I like having an opinion and a job.

The guy that I "dated" before my current boyfriend was born in Spain and then moved to America. I don't know if there was a culture clash, more
of him being an asshole

I dated the foreign exchange student from Germany my senior year. He was all nice till 2 weeks into the relationship he wrote me a letter telling me we had to
move further into our relationship. I was like, uh no so we broke up. We still remained friends though.

Yep and he was/is here illegally. We were together for 7 years. When we broke up after 9/11 he had the nerve to ask me to marry him so he could get his green
card. I hung up on him

I fucked a Ukrainian a few times. But he's been in the states since he was like 13 so it wasn't that big of a clash. lol.

I dated a guy from Turkey once. He treated me like gold...but when it came down to it, we didn't have much in common.
