The scariest place I've driven was not a bridge, it was some crazy WINDING road up some crazy ass mountains in Colorado with ice all over the place.
I don't mind some of the water ones. The skinny looking bridges that look like they don't have much support scare the crap outta me. |

There's one in North Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Fl area that scares the heck out of me to drive over. It's next to the Ft. Lauderdale airport. And then the
"7 Mile Bridge" connecting South Florida to The Florida Keys. Yea, not my idea of fun, although I have driven (ridden, I was a passenger) over it to
and from Key West last year.
This is (part of) the 7 Mile Bridge:

Just to ease your fear, I will tell you that over 80% of bridges in America are classified as "structurally deficient" lol

I've been on the pontchartrain bridge! It didn't bother me.
I've actually climbed a bridge...it was secure and actually not that "thrilling", and I used to think I was scared of heights. I even laid down on the part that was clear glass over the river... haha. Here's a pic of the bridge, and what it looked like with people climbing. It was something you could do in Cincinnati, but they closed it cuz I guess they weren't making enough money.

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel really isn't that bad! It's not like it's made of glass and you're staring at all the fish as you go
through...if you didn't know you were underwater you wouldn't even know anything was different! There are quite a few bridge tunnels in the Tidewater
area of VA. None are as long as the CBBT. That one connects the Eastern Shore of VA to the mainland. But there is also the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel that you
go through on 64 E going towards Norfolk/VA beach, and the Monitor Merrimac BT that connects Newport News to Suffolk. It's really not that bad, and you
definitely get used to it.

This is from my mom's hometown...
My uncle told me stories about how they used to walk along the LITTLE SKINNY EDGE from one side to the other. Granted you can't drive over it, but it's still scary to think they walked on that...

Here's a movie of the High 5 In dallas from the first pictures I put in the thread
Also has anyone been to "Grandfather mountain" in Boone, NC? It's a mile high bridge you walk across. I went on it and it was pretty neat. And yes it does swing a bit

The Capilano Bridge in Canada is also a walk on bridge and it swung a little bit too. I thought it was pretty cool. My brother was terrifed though and he
cried.
