Have you settled into your new place? Finished packing? No comment on MJ as I was taught if you can't say something nice. But I am shocked at how slow the internet is from it. |

So I started arguing that it was total non-sense and then I heard him laugh...he was making fun of me! He's not the kind of guy to get all mushy over some celebrity's death and I was all
I can say that I've finished unpacking. What is in the boxes in my son's room will probably stay there until I feel like getting rid of the useless stuff. When the sofa in the corridor is taken away on July 3rd and my kitchen table arrives on July 5th, I'll consider myself settled. Of course, nothing's perfect and there is some noises coming from the 24 hours open McDo in the middle of the night that sometimes awake me. And it's really warm inside, but I don't care, I prefer warm to be cold all the time. |

thalie67 wrote:Well it is nice to be warm - the noise you will get used to. We have a train that comes by across the inlet every morning at like 4:30 am and of course the water just amplifies it but I have to admit that I don't even hear it anymore. It has just become something in the background. |

at 4:15 and walking loudly - that was bad neighbouring on her part. Outside noises are part of living in the city.

Oh sad at the moment - Skweekie on the US forum has deleted all of the Message from Gustav and will not be writing any more. I loved reading those as I never
failed to get a pretty good laugh from them.

thalie67 wrote:I don't know the story but I get the sense that she may have been ticked off about something and deleted them herself. I read a couple of her other posts and she says something about the forum not being fun anymore. I sent her a private message and she was nice even to send them to me. |

Hey skweekie is trying to get onto this discussion forum - she has signed up but seems to be having problems. I can't remember being invited to this
discussion board or anything like that. Any suggestions as to what steps I should pass on?
Okay more info Here is what she says "I can get to your forum and read the posts, but when I try to post, I get that message I told you about. At the top, it says welcome skweekie, so I know I'm registered. I just can't post anything myself." I cannot for the life of me remember what I did to be able to post - total brain cramp.

Unless the board is being moderated because of all the weirdos that show up and she has to wait to receive the ok? Did she get an approval email? I really don't know. |

It was nice. Did nothing but swim, eat, read, sleep and eat some more. Went to Barcelona for one day but also there we did everything the relaxed way! Im very happy to be home though! Im very bad at doing nothing and 8 days was just a bit too much. Especially without internet! I seriously wanted to hug my computer when I got home! Im going to relax for 3 weeks and then Im off for the
next holiday! |
