Cetaphil is the only thing that works for me, maybe your skin just reacts differently to it.

I like Cetaphil.
But you may need something stronger if you wear much make up or have oily skin. |

Maybe you're not using the right kind. I know the "for oily skin" works great for my boyfriend, but once I bought the "for any skin
type" kind and his skin broke out immediately.

Cetaphil is for those with sensitive, balanced, non-acne prone skin. It does make your skin soft but for those prone to break-outs, it's awful.

Yea, I have oily skin that's flaky. I was using aveeno, which almost completely cleared my face, but with everyone talking up the cetaphil so much, I
decided to try it.
Big mistake! I'm gonna go back to my aveeno. |

Cetaphil generally has the good reputation it does from professionals, ebcause its recommended for those who are on harsh acne medications, like Retin
A/Tazorac/Differin, etc.

Yeah, I had always heard it was great for people with acne but it never did anything for me. Yuck.

Cetaphil made my skin break out horribly.

I never really liked Cetaphil when I was using it. It didn't really do much for me. Didn't clear up my skin, but didn't make me break out, either.
